The Knowledge of the Holy

I could choose a nugget from Tozer's book, every day and spend the next year meditating on life changing truth.

"God has charged Himself with full responsibility for our eternal happiness and stands ready to take over the management of our lives the moment we turn in faith to Him."  A.W. Tozer from his book The Knowledge of the Holy

As I study this book, I wonder, do I really leave the management of my life in God's hands? Am I patiently trusting Him with my happiness?  May I remember the happiness I seek may not be in His plan. Happiness God provides, is exceedingly, abundantly, greater than I can conceive or imagine.

God's promise in Isaiah is:
"And I will lead the blind
    in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
    I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
    the rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
    and I do not forsake them." Isaiah 42:16 ESV


I'm one of the blind, walking in darkness. I continually trip over the rough places. I thank God that He doesn't forsake me.
