Find Secret Guilt on Amazon Small Town America Angola, Indiana Since my books have been centered in Indiana, let’s look at Angola, IN. If you’re looking for it on the map, you’ll find it in the far northeast corner of the state. For travelers, there’s easy access by I-69 and the Indiana Toll Road (I-80 and I-90) Some of the first settlers of Angola, Indiana came from Angola, New York. So they named their new town after the old one. There’s lots to do in Angola both summer and winter. Century old buildings in downtown Angola house some charming antique shops, lunch eateries and boutiques. If you’re looking for fishing or boating, Angola is located in Stueben County, home to 101 natural lakes. Pokagon State Park is nearby for camping, hiking, swimming, and tobogganing.
