Researchers have found that any form of exercise relieves the symptoms of depression. In a study, men and women who had been diagnosed with major depression reported short-term relief from depression and increased emotional well-being after spending just 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Many studies have shown that those who are active are less likely to suffer from depression as those others who are sedentary.
