Essential Repair Shampoo
Essential Repair Conditioner
Shinemax Smoother

Before I start this review, I'll tell you about my hair.  My hair is fine, very curly and color enhanced. I use a single process tint to lighten my hair and a bleach lightener to highlight it.  I straighten my curly hair with a flat iron.  I’m telling you this so that you will understand that my hair could be referred to as abused. Without special care it is FRIZZY.

However, when I’m finished styling, my hair is smooth, shiny and silky with no tell-tale frizz.  Most people
can’t believe my hair is not naturally straight.

My new favorite product is Pureology.

I use Pureology Essential Repair Shampoo

It is not a high sudsing shampoo but it cleanses well. The low-sudsing properties make it much better for preserving vibrant color. It will not fade hair color. The shampoo is very concentrated so a bottle lasts a long time. If I don’t feel that the shampoo is covering my entire head, I add a little more water and it spreads easily.

I use Pureology Essential Repair Conditioner

After I towel blot my hair to remove some of the excess water, I place about a quarter size amount of conditioner in my hand. I rub my hands together to emulsify the product and distribute it through my hair. I gently massage it through and leave it in my hair until I’m through showering – about 3 to 5 minutes. Then, I rinse thoroughly.

My hair combs through very easily and feels great.

I use Purelology Shinemax

The instructions for Shinemax call for two (2) drops of product. That sounds like a very small amount – and it is. However, that is all you need. I put 2 ( OK, sometimes I use 3 drops for my long hair) in the palm of my hand and rub my palms together. Then I run my hands through my hair making sure the product is distributed well. I then comb it through with a wide toothed comb.

This the only product I use on my hair although I could add styling products to add body and control. As I said before, after blow drying and some flat iron work - much less work than every before! - my hair is smooth, shiny and silky.

(Note: I purchased these products myself for review. I was not paid to review them.)
