Well, today was my last day of regular classes. I am very glad to be through with High School but I will miss the kids, teachers, and the good times I have had in Athens. The Prom is Friday the 22nd, Bac. the 31st, Graduation June 3.
Everyone says this is not a very good time to be graduating. I think it is an excellent time. We go forth into a world fill with strife and storm. It will be a good time to use our knowledge before it gets rusty. many jobs are open to the boys under the draft age. Several have already enlisted. everything taken into consideration I think our graduating class will prove a credit to Athens High School.

They are discussing the picture with Paul Harris, now graduated from college and who is working as a partner at Kolb's Funeral Home. ...
